Daniel will line up in Hungary for his first race after joining the Scuderia on loan from Red Bull Racing.

His times during the tire test were very competitive.
We are excited to see what the rest of the season brings for Daniel, as he is on a loan at Scuderia Alpha Tauri.

De Vries had a best result of 12th at Monaco in May, but has struggled through the first half of his maiden F1 season.
He was forced to retire from the grand prix in Azerbaijan when he broke his suspension in an avoidable accident after putting his Alpha Tauri into the tyre wall during Friday practice.
The Red Bull advisor criticized him, saying he was on a yellow card.

The irony is that Daniel Ricciardo left a struggling McLaren team to join Alpha Tauri, who are currently in the lead of the constructors’ championship.

When Red Bull launched their car in New York earlier this year, it was Daniel Ricciardo who was wheeled out instead of Max Verstappen orSergio Perez.
He is a big personality.
Is he still able to get it?
Red Bull will find out what he can do in six months if they give him a chance.
A rough hand has been dealt to De Vries.
10 races to find his feet in a poor car.

What will he do at Red Bull?

What does Daniel do?
Australian F1 Red Bull’s third driver for the 2023 F1 campaign will be Ricciardo.
Key responsibilities include testing, simulator work and commercial activity.

The Dutch name was not mentioned in the press release announcing the arrival of Ricciardo.
He wasn’t pulling up trees and didn’t offer much to the brand out of the car.

One might argue that Liam Lawson is equally unfortunate and that the appointment of Ricciardo shows little confidence in their own programme. You can see why it makes sense.
